Bobbitt Wins First Enduro of the Season on Dunlop Geomax Tires

Three-time National Enduro Champion Russell Bobbitt grabbed the win at the season opener of the Rekluse/AMA National Enduro Series, riding on stock Dunlop Geomax tires. Bobbitt dominated the 75-mile race, finishing with a 48-second lead over KTM teammate Brad Bakken.

After struggling with a separated shoulder throughout the majority of last season, Bobbitt is back to top form for 2011. He spent most of the off-season in Florida, revamping his enduro training routine to focus more on speed and overall fitness.

Bobbitt dominated the race from the start. He turned in the fastest time in the first three sections before having his first hiccup—a crash in the fourth test, which cost him some time. Despite his crash, Bobbitt still maintained the lead after the fourth test, and finished the race with the fastest time in section six.

The Dunlop tires that helped Bobbitt to maneuver fast and smoothly through the sandy conditions at Salley, South Carolina, are the same Geomax off-road tires consumers can buy at any Dunlop dealer.

The next AMA National Enduro Event is at Forest Hill, LA, on March 20, 2011.
