Dunlop congratulates 2011 Team Dunlop members Mark Worth and Chase Bell, plus alumni team members Joey Savatgy and Chris Alldredge along with Derek Drake and Gabriel Jairala on being selected to represent the United States at the 2011 FIM Junior Motocross World Championships. Each year, amateur racers from 34 nations compete for both individual and team pride at an international location, and on August 13-14, Team USA’s six-member squad—all running on Dunlop Geomax tires—will attempt to capture Team USA’s second-consecutive world championship team title in Cingoli, Italy.
Jairala and Drake will compete in the 65cc class riding KTM 65s, while Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders Worth (a five-year Team Dunlop member) and Bell (a 2010 and 2011 Team Dunlop member) will race 85cc bikes. Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider Savatgy (a 2007 Team Dunlop member) accompanied by Yamaha amateur support rider Alldredge (2008 and 2010 Team Dunlop) will contest the 125cc class.
“We are incredibly proud that all six racers selected to represent the USA at this year’s event are Dunlop racers,” said Primo Marotto, Dunlop’s Manager of AmateurMotocross Support. “Worth, Bell, Savatgyand Alldredge have all enjoyed multiple years of support on the Team Dunlop squad, while Jairala and Drake contest the 65cc amateur national competition on Dunlop tires.
