Buffalo, NY: The 2019 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), wrapped up in Portugal this weekend, and Team USA was the dominant force, winning three of the four championships up for grabs. It was an historic event for American riders.
Team USA won the 94th running of the event by taking the prestigious FIM World Trophy (WT) for only the second time. Dunlop riders contributed mightily to the victory, including Kailub Russell, Taylor Robert and Ryan Sipes.
In the Junior World Trophy class, Dunlop-sponsored riders Ben Kelley and Josh Toth helped push the team to a solid second place finish.
“For off-road racing, the ISDE is our Olympics,” said Broc Glover, Sr. Manager Off-road Dunlop Motorcycle Tires. “Defeating teams from all over the world was truly an historic moment in the history of the American ISDE riders and we want to thank all the racers who chose to compete on Dunlop EN91 tires including this year’s overall individual and E3-class winner, Team Australia’s Daniel “Chucky” Sanders.”
Dunlop’s new DOT- and FIM-approved Geomax® Enduro EN91 was the tire of choice for Team USA’s Dunlop riders.
