Dunlop Riders Dominate James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship

Buffalo, NY: The recent James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship vividly demonstrated once again the overwhelming superiority of Dunlop tires, as a large contingent of talented amateur racers nabbed 39 of 43 championships for the brand. The majority of these up-and-coming racers chose Dunlop’s soft/intermediate MX33, although early-morning motos sometimes saw the MX11/MX12 sand/mud tires put to good use as well over the week’s worth of racing at Freestone County Raceway in Texas.

Some rain showers scattered over the five days of racing added a few challenges, but Team Dunlop Elite racers and alumni came through in the clutch to amass some impressive results, capturing 11 of the class championships. Elite riders Daxton Bennick, Max Vohland, Kade Johnson and Mikayla Nielsen scored two wins each, while Drew Adams, Ryder DiFrancesco and Seth Dennis, along with Elite alum Stilez Robertson, all put in championship rides. In addition, Dylan Cunha put in a masterful effort to collect a total of four titles during the week.

“It takes a lot of work and family commitment to win a championship, and we’re honored to support every rider within the Dunlop family. We also want to give a special shout-out specifically to the Team Dunlop Elite riders, and to all the racers who earned titles,” said Rob Fox, Dunlop’s Amateur Motocross Manager.
