Dunlop is the Official Motorcycle Tire of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship

Buffalo, NY: Dunlop is proud to announce it will be the Official Motorcycle Tire of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. The 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series will remain open to all tire manufacturers, but the vast majority of factory and privateer motocross teams in 2014 choose to compete on Dunlop tires.

“We’re proud to support Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, which gives us the ability to develop tires while racing with top professionals, which we can then offer to the riding public.” said Mike Buckley, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and R&D.

For the past four years, Dunlop-sponsored riders have dominated both the 250 Class and 450 Class Pro Motocross championships. Last year, pre-production versions of the Dunlop Geomax® MX32™ and MX52™ front and rear tires were used an astounding 62 times by the overall race winners in AMA Pro Supercross and Pro Motocross events. In 2014, every 450 and 250 Supercross main event was won by prototype Dunlop Geomax MX32 or MX52 race tires—amazing results for tires now available to the public.
