Team Dunlop Elite Riders Ready For 2017

Buffalo, NY: If you’re wondering where Team Dunlop Elite alumni go when they graduate from Dunlop’s popular amateur support program, the 2017 Supercross season will tell you. Team Dunlop Elite alumnus Eli Tomac continues to rack up Monster Energy Supercross wins, while fellow alumnus Justin Hill posted his fourth consecutive 250 win—leading a Team Dunlop Elite alumni sweep of the 250 class podium in Texas—followed by another alumnus, Joey Savatgy, kicking off the 250 East title chase with his first win of the season. Team Dunlop’s Elite amateur grads are all grown up, and they’re taking over the pro ranks.

Many of the country’s top amateur riders have been selected over the past eleven years to be part of the Team Dunlop Elite program, and this year brings another crop of talented amateurs with eyes on the pro prize. For 2017, the Team Dunlop Elite lineup consists of 15 motocross riders who will receive special tire support, preferred service at select races, plus advertising and promotional opportunities in national media and on the Team Dunlop website. These riders will compete at top amateur motocross nationals all across the country in classes ranging from 50cc to Super Mini.

New to the team this year is 8 year old Seth Dennis, who joins 14 other riders on the Elite team, including 7 year veteran Stilez Robertson and 6 year veteran Carson Mumford. In addition Caden Braswell, Jazzmyn Canfield, Crockett Myers, Hunter Yoder, Casey Cochran, Max Vohland, Jett Reynolds, Ryder DiFrancesco, Matthew Leblanc, Haiden Deegan, Daxton Bennick and Nick Romano will complete the 2017 team.

“We have a very strong amateur team this year, and it’s an inspiration to the whole program to see the team’s graduates dominating the pro ranks,” said team manager Rob Fox. “As a big supporter of motorcycle racing in the U.S., Dunlop’s amateur support program is one way we can help young athletes achieve their dreams of becoming professional racers.”

Team Dunlop’s Elite lineup is just one part of Team Dunlop, one of the largest amateur support programs in the nation that’s open to eligible up and coming racers. Visit teamdunlop.com today to check out all the benefits of membership in the Team Dunlop community.
